甘い + おいしい!

Sweet, delicious 'Hello Panda' chocolate biscuits, I'm addicted to it... Who doesn't like it? what flavours do you like? I love my one and only chocolate flavour. Oh and there's a free sticker, I got fencing and running - this is just one of my childish moments of savouring these sort of snacks.

携帯電話 (Keitai Denwa)

I'm now into decorating my beloved mobile... As everyone know keitai refers to "cell". Keitai Denwa is the full reference in Japanese of a "cell phone/portable phones".

Japanese keitai culture has been devloping progressly fast. Some may know that the 'Japanese keitai culture' contains many things that we from Europe, Oceania and other nations don't usually have or isn't seen as often. We on the streets usually see a variety of cell phones, such as flip, clamp, slide, touch or even swivel phones, but 'Clamp' or 'flip' phones are common to use in Japan.

Many of these Japanese phone cultures include decome also known as 'decomail' this is seen as people who 'text' include animated emoticons (emotions) to describe their current feelings.

Another popular keitai culture is cellphone straps. Majority of the Japanese cell phones have atleast a keitai strap. I find it really interesting that this 'fashion accessory' of cell phone straps is supported in the Japanese phone culture.

Jjodonoghue's youtube account has posted an interesting clip in which it shows how keitai straps are used in the majority of the Japan population, whether your old or young, everyone seem's have a little of their own personal keitai strap.
Here is the clip:

I couldn't help but to answer the question posed in the beginning "What does your Keitai wear?"
I guess I'll show how awfully lot of straps I have (although in real life, I avoid to use any at all)

As you can see from above, there's my new phone that I'm so proud of. Many of the keitai straps you see there are either given by my friends or given to me as a present. If I have to count, there is atleast 5 items hanging on my phone. Turtle and son, bear with knitted blue pullover, ribbon/beaded bear with lace, a random girl in green dress wooden strap, and last but not least a bottle of paper stars with a random bell. As you can see most of the strap items I have is blue, since blue's my favourite colour.

In real daily life, my phone does not actually wear such heavy or ALOT of the straps you see there, I even rarely have any on. Anyways it's one-way or another to show off how many straps I like to place on my phone to follow the Japanese keitai culture.

So.. What does your Keitai/cellphone wear? It'd be nice to see some replies once and a while in this blog. Looks lonely.

April Animes (A bit of reviewing I guess)

From my previous post, I posted up a list of animes that I was planning to watch over this season, I even made a schedule list as well.
Since a couple of the newer animes came out thought I'd like to say my thoughts about the animes, although I've only seen the first couple of episodes that were released.

Major S6

I haven't started it yet, but will gradually pick up a couple of the episodes in a few months, because I know that once I start watching I'll catch onto it too much.

Senko no Night Raid
Gehhh, an anime that I couldn't stand watching. I was into the first episode, and about roughly 10 minutes into the anime I eventually got bored. Enough said, but I do think that the main character's 'japanese' accent in his chinese-mandarin pronounciations were awfully funny.
No harm done, I basically wasted 10 minutes. I'll drop this anime, but maybe eventually pick it up when I'm in the state of dead-boredom.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
Ah, I'd say this anime's so-so.... alot of maid themes are going in the anime. Reasonably alright plot, although not much character development is showing, but I wouldn't say this is a slow paced anime. I'm looking forward to more actually.

Angel Beats!
I thought I'd stall this anime BUT the first episode and onwards caught my attention, I'm glad I watched it. From now on I'm greatly following on this anime, it's awesome, let's forget about the previous bash on this anime. This anime's simply unique, mysterious, and crazy at times. I'm placing it 3rd in my April's anime's list.

Arakawa Under the Bridge
Amusement is slightly cheesy, but I did get a giggle here and there with this anime. I love the development between Ric and Nino. Let's just see how this ends up, I'm excited. This anime's second on the list of "April's animes"

Giant Killing
Superb sports anime, nice kick-off start with introducing the main character and character's background information. Alot of character development is shown for the first few episodes so far, and yet a competition arises between the 2 groups (attemption to avoid spoilers). I wonder how'll they do in the first match with a new manager. Thi anime's first on my list of 'April' animes.

Magnet - Faneru + Gero (Eng Sub)

Like I hinted earlier in my previous post. HERE IT IS! Took me approximately 2 days, within the 2 days, 7hrs in total... I guess I'm still an amateur when it comes to timing and hardsubbing videos.

Bomb me with the requests!

Magnet - Faneru + Gero

Everyone knows the famous duo NeGero, which is made up of Faneru and Gero. For those who don't know already, vivid nico nico fans such as myself are addicted to this singing duo.

Faneru, who recently left the 'virtual internet world' on March 28th (?) is becoming famous, I mean... alot of their videos and his videos are on the rise in the nico nico ranking system. No specific reason or news regarding why Faneru left, although his blogs, videos, mylists have been deleted, it if official that he left.

Let's reminiscence Faneru and Gero's famous duet of Magnet as I'll be hardsubbing it. Thank you for the person who annotated the video and giving me permission to hardsub it. I guess I'll be done in a few days or so... maybe even today.

Another all-nighter

For the first time in a while, a personal blog post...
I've been pulling all-nighters lately... What should I do? Even though I've been pulling all-nighters, I was able to see the sunrise and captured the moment with my new phone.
Yes, I neglected my old phone, Sony Ericsson w800i, and now I own a Samsung F480i (aka Tocco)

Here's a few upgrades in comparison to my old phone.
- Camera is 5 megapixels (instead of 2 megapixels- YATTA!)
- Widgets applications
- Touch screen (Wow)
- Other than that, many of the tools and applications are the same.

Look forward to me spazzing pictures here and there with my new phone.

More on Anime - Most anticipated anime (Spring '10)

It's a roll of anime posts this week. Let's see I've actually looked at the Spring Catalogue AGES ago, but I didn't bother blogging, so thought I'd properly blog about this. Since the Spring anime's will be coming in soon... might as well mention a few that interests me.

This is from my opinion, taste, theme, likes that I prefer or would like to watch this Spring... (should I say winter for me?)

Oh by the way, you can take a look at the catalogue here if you want.
Start-o!

6. Angel Beats
I have mentioned this before in the "2010 anticipated anime" post. BUT I've finally read the plot for the anime... ughh... I'm speechless.. think I wont be watching it, but it made it onto my list from watching the recent trailer. Nani kore? Basically three words: angels, battles, rebel ... so.. yeh. Anime said to be released this April. (Airing now actually from the 2nd, but I doubt I'll watch it.)

5. Senko no Night Raid
Ah, yeh, I know... the typical action anime desshou? But, it doesn't look that bad after watching the trailer, looks decent, storyline slightly intriguing. Set in Shanghai, missions... Maybe I'll try it out. Anime said to release this April 5th.

4. Arakawa Under the Bridge
This is 'wow' anime. Original storyline, something I've never actually watched that's anything similar to what I just read. Let's see how this turns out, the unique plot and character relationships. Anime said to be released this April 4th.

3. Giant Killing
I'm having high expections on this anime, I mean... SOCCER, a sport that I like. This has to be good. But let's hope this isn't one of those hit-and-miss sports animes. Anime said to be released this April 4th.

2. Kaichou wa Maid-sama
Kya! Shoujo anime! Those who've read the manga should know how GOOD this is, now they plan to release an anime rendition of the manga. It's sweet as sugar. Anime said to be released this April 2nd.

1. Major Season 6!
This is my MOST anticipated anime... I, I'm actually a diehard fan of Major, I've been following it ever since the first season, kya... KITAA!!!!!!! Will be released on April 3rd according to the official site!

Many of the anime's will be starting this month, even tonight and some tommorow.. let's start the anime marathon!

Kimi ni Todoke - Finale

I need to sob for the ending of Kimi ni Todoke, the last episode did not satisfy me, I want a second season since there's still plenty more of the manga. But I loved it, Sawako, realising her true feelings, Kazehaya ... kya! I'll miss this anime...

Please I.G Productions, please make a second season.

For now, I'm hooked onto Durarara, as usual.

My holiday begins, that is all for the update.
