Arakawa Under the Bridge SEASON 1 ENDS - SEASON 2 GREEN-LIT

animenewsnetwork:
The final episode of the first season of the Arakawa under the bridge anime series has announced on Sunday night that production on a second season has been green-lit. The announcement was made after the end of the episode after midnight (effectively early Monday morning). The television anime series adapts Hikaru Nakamura's manga of the same name, which has been running in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine since 2004.

I'm glad they decided to continue on with this anime, I would be terribly sad that it was discontinued because the last episode didn't satisfy me..

Too Bad...

Japan tried their best in the 2010 World Cup, yet they landed with an 'out' from the game.
I have to say I'm proud of them, they've tried their hardest, they've improved their skills, they've gained more experience.

Tough luck, but best of the efforts.

Study or WORLD CUP

Well.. no actually, I know I should stick to studying but.. hey World Cup just keeps popping in my mind. Somehow I've been thinking that I've got World Cup Fever. I've been lacking on my studies due to my world cup addiction.

This morning I'll be having my 4th exam (2nd last exam) before heading into the holidays yet I couldn't resist myself from spending more time in front of the tv and watching the world cup games.

Oh well, I'll just slap myself for not having any self discipline with my studies.

'Colorful' - Anime Film set to release!

"I, died once before... in colorful world, which color's are real, which colors are my own, I don't know"

"Congratulations. You have won a lottery, would you like to relive your life once again?"

There may have been mistranslations, as I know only BASIC Japanese, excus any mistranslations.

The trailer set a sense of a setimental film, a film that may contain numerous themes and moral-meaning. It does look like a promising anime film. It's attracted my attention with the realistic backdrops of the city, it's smooth flow of music selection.

This film is something that anyone could look forward to, but I hope it doesn't turn out to be one of those corny-classic animes that starts off well, but ends terrible.

Here is the plot (animenewsnetwork):

The "heart-warming comedy" follows a person who finds himself trapped outside the normal endless circle of life and death. Thanks to "winning" a lottery in the angel world, the protagonist is brought back to inhabit the body of a 14-year-old boy — who just committed suicide. Thus, the protagonist begins a new life.

From what you can see in the trailer it does look superb.

By all means, whoever is interested keep an eye on this anime film that set to be released in August 21st. Oh, by the way, I love the official site for this anime, it's plain COLORFUL!

Isolation

Yes, yet again I thought I'd give my piggy a little attention. You see, before I even noticed it, it was heavily covered under a thick layer of dust. This is an actual mouse wrist padding for those who have sore wrist when using the mouse on the computer. I never end up using it and well.. my friend did give it to me as a present. I'll give it a bit of attention to it for now, hope it isn't lonely...

If you wonder what 'set' I took the photograph in... well I have to say i used two pieces of white paper, one for the background and one for the bottom writing 'isolation'

I didnt place a "credit" label in it as I TRUST people that they wont steal this photograph I took randomly, if you do use it, please credit/link back.

Google?

You see.. It's actually a year ago that I went to Google office in Aus. It was actually for an event where they wanted to introduce more Girls to do IT. Therefore enforcing 'Girls at Google' day which I went there for one whole day to experience what they actually do in Google, there was a few people from other schools including me. This happened in the beginning of '09 (last year). Throughout the whole day we got a tour around the office as well as a few insight on the process of how searches are done, how it's programmed, it was actually pretty interesting, somehow I'm interested.

For privacy had to blur my name and everything out, but I did leave my nickname visible "Sa". Anyways we got to keep the nifty Google neck strap :)

Anyways feel's like I'm somehow promoting Google and IT, it was an awesome experience, an experience that I would never forget. That's why thought I'd like to mention it in my blog, even though this event was a year ago I still kept all the freebies I got from Google. Ended up getting like a notepad, sticky notes, a "lego block" money box, anyways overall it was fascinating and fun at the same time.

Angel Beats - Coming to an End

Many of you know, Angel Beats will be officially ending with it's 13th episode on June 25th. So sad, I thought that this anime would eventually bypass 13 episodes, but I guess we'll just have to see how it will end. I would definitely miss this anime as much as I missed Kimi ni Todoke. Before I watched this anime I thought it'd be a typical angel vs human thing with action and all but as the series progressed further it got better and better. Now it's on it's final episode

Episode 13 - Graduation:
Heres the sad preview...
Compared to the usual latin-guitar music for the preview, this preview was accompanied with piano background music.

NHK MAG-NET

Oh, I see SHAFT production's is working on an animated opening for the Sunday night program "Mag-Net" (Magnet)

As you can see it's still a draft, but it seems well done so far, expecting an excellent opening for the show.

For people who are wondering, what is this "MAG-NET" show that's aired on NHK on Sunday nights, you can visit NHK's official MAG-NET website here

M=マンガ A=アニメ G=ゲーム そしてネット
Here's a rough translation, basically MAG-NET stands for Manga, Anime, Games and I'd take "NET" as internet(? correct me if I'm wrong). A program that's entirely different as it introduces us the three-four sub-categories of an ordinary Otaku basically. Interesting. I saw a few segments of the show where it introduces us to guests and celebrities involving those genres. Also there was also explainations of current trends in games, nets, animes and manga.

From the opening and information from the site, I'd take it that Ono Daisuke & Gotou Saori will be voicing/seiyuu the "MCs" of the show and they even sang the opening for this program.

Here's a sample segment:

This segment explains the expansion of the "Touhou Project", from the simple dojin game it is to now how characters from Touhou Project is now popular throughout nico nico MADs, Music and Fanvids, and Fan art (Basically the Otaku world). It also updates us with the current trends in the surroundings of the "Touhou Project" and many fandoms, how it all started, how this project was developed and many other interesting background information in regards to it. Interesting indeed, you can see part 2 and the rest of the show by visiting the external link through this video if you're interested.

Anyways, look forward for the MAG-NET program.
